Directions

From Northbound Taconic State Parkway: Take exit 31A for NY-301 E toward Carmel. At the end of the exit ramp turn left onto NY-301 W. In 3.6 miles, turn left onto Dennytown Road. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Indian Brook Road. After about 0.5 miles turn left onto Mountain Laurel Lane.

From Southbound Taconic State Parkway: Take exit 31B for NY-301 W toward Cold Spring. At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto NY-301 W. In 3.5 miles, turn left onto Dennytown Road. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Indian Brook Road. After about 0.5 miles turn left onto Mountain Laurel Lane.

From Route 9 or 9D: Take NY-301 E and turn right onto Dennytown Road. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Indian Brook Road. After about 0.5 miles turn left onto Mountain Laurel Lane.

Train

You can also take a train to reach Cold Spring from Grand Central Station, in NYC.

HOWEVER, THERE WILL NOT BE ANY TRAINS EARLY ENOUGH ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 17 TO GET YOU TO THE RACE ON TIME.

Parking

Parking will be along both sides of Mountain Laurel Lane (see yellow highlights on the map on the right) as you turn off Indian Brook Road.

Please consider carpooling to help alleviate congestion on race day. Signs will direct you to the start from the parking area.

DO NOT PARK ON INDIAN BROOK ROAD.

Supplies

Please be advised that there are no convenience or grocery stores within easy walking distance of the start area. The closest convenience stores and supermarket are about a 10 minute drive from the start area.

Spectating Locations

If you would like to cheer runners on along the race route, here are some spots that are readily accessible with races passing through them in parentheses:

  1. Aid Station 1 – Dennytown (50k and 25k)
  2. Aid Station 3/6 – Big Woods (50k)
  3. Aid Station 4 – Hubbard I-Beam (50k)

Aid Stations 1 and 3 are parking lots. To reach Aid Station 4, you must park at Hubbard Lodge and walk in on the Fahnestock/School Mountain Trail approximately 0.4 miles to the aid station location.

**Please do not attempt to spectate at Aid Stations 2 and 5. There is limited access/space at these locations**
